The First Friday Folkie Free-For-All

The First Friday Folkie Free-For-All (FFFFFA) is held on the first Friday of every month at 7:00pm Pacific Time.  This is a traditional song circle, in which attendees take turns choosing the song for the circle to sing, or ask someone else to sing.  The sessions are hosted in various member’s homes; please see the latest copy of our newsletter Folk Talk to learn where the next one will be held.  Bring your voice, your friends, and your instrument and sing to make the rafters ring!

Second Saturday Sea Song Singalong

The Second Saturday Sea Song Singalong (SSSSS) is held on the second Saturday of each month at the Round Table Pizza on George Washington Way in Richland.  We gather at about 6:00pm to eat, and the singing begins at around 6:30 or whenever people have eaten enogh to sing; we generally go until about 8:30 or 9:00pm.  While ostensibly focused on sea songs and chanteys, it’s by no means limited to those alone, and if you’re in the song circle, you can choose whichever song you please to perform.  It’s a great way to get some public performance time, practice your instrument, and hang out with a bunch of fun people!
